Last Christmas, you raised more than £200,000 to help vulnerable children.

This year, we need you to help us reach the thousands of children who still face a Christmas without food, warmth and love.

Look out for our Secret Santa 2019 launch – coming soon!

Thank you for making a difference

Thank you for being a Secret Santa with Action for Children this Christmas. With your help, we were able to give more children hot meals and presents when they would otherwise go without. You made sure homeless teenagers had a safe place to sleep, and young carers got a much-needed break

Secret Santa facts

This Christmas, our Santas…

  • gave young carers a much-needed break
  • bought toys and books for children who would otherwise get no presents
  • paid for a child to have a hot meal
  • provided a safe place for a young homeless teenage over Christmas.
  • attracted the attention of celebrities like Neil Morrissey, Anthea Turner and Larry Lamb.

Where your money goes

For some families, Christmas means choosing between having something to eat and affording a gift for their child. Support worker Sian talks about the difference your donations make.
