Our Santas are changing lives…

Secret Santa 2019 has now ended. Read on to find out more about the campaign and check back next Christmas to become a Secret Santa for a vulnerable child.

This Christmas won’t be easy for vulnerable children in the UK. The number of children living in poverty now equates to nine in an average class of 30. One in five are living with domestic abuse. And families are struggling to afford basics, like food and clothes.

At Action for Children, we help 387,000 children every year – and day in, day out, we see children who are hurting. But we also see the difference the right support can make. Last year, our Secret Santas helped us give more children hot meals and presents when they would otherwise have gone without. They made sure homeless teenagers had a safe place to sleep, and young carers got a much-needed break.

These children didn’t know who had helped them, but together our Secret Santas helped to make Christmas that little bit brighter. With your help this year, we can reach even more. Watch Lissie’s story below and read Sian’s story to see how your money helps provide vital support.

Most donations that we receive from our Secret Santa campaign will be unrestricted – meaning they are not focused on one project or one specific area of the UK. This means that we can fund projects in areas where the need is greatest.
