Starry Night: an evening of Christmas carols, fun and festive cheer
Action for Children’s Starry Night will bring an evening of Christmas carols, sparkling entertainment and festive cheer to homes across the UK on Tuesday 8 December 2020.
Join us for an evening of exclusive entertainment hosted by Channel 4 News’ Jon Snow. We’ll have classic carols sung by The Epiphoni Consort, and appearances from some very special guests including Angellica Bell, Leona Lewis and Call the Midwife’s Jenny Agutter OBE. By joining, you can help us bring happiness, warmth and safety to vulnerable children in the UK.
Every penny raised will go towards supporting the vital work that Action for Children does across the UK. Before coronavirus hit more than four million children in the UK were locked in poverty. More families are having to choose between paying their bills or feeding their children. And with Christmas just around the corner, they’re terrified about how they’re going to cope.
There will be a Silent Auction and Prize Draw live from 24 November to get those last-minute Christmas presents. Or, if you are stuck for a present idea for a family member, friend or colleague this Christmas, you could donate to Action for Children on their behalf. You will receive a certificate to share with them after donating.
Thousands of children and young people face Christmas without a hot meal, a present or a safe place to sleep. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on their lives.
You could change this.
We’ve seen how their lives have been turned upside down. But we’ve also seen the life-changing difference you can make.
